Aww, are you sad you don't have this sort of camaraderie in your life?
I understand this is rants and flames, and you're more than welcome to voice your opinion.
In my opinion though, you sound a bit butt-hurt that our friendships not only transcend guild boundaries- but also time, circumstance, and former inter-personal problems.
I'd call that true friendship- and I feel sorry your life seems to lack that.
