When I played on live I was very hardcore, I was a post-grad student writing my thesis and had lots of time to burn, no wife, no kids, no commitments other than drinking nights with my friends. My guild was always on the cutting edge doing new content, wiping and getting first dibs on all kinds of new pixels.

I never made any alts and never wasted time in game, It was like a second job where I farmed spell reagents to help advance. I played 2 other games pretty hardcore until I figured out that what I loved the most was the challenge and the fear of deaths and deaths that came from learning new encounters or pitting myself against crazy pulls, named mobs, redcons etc.

I became an altoholic in LOTRO and SWTOR where I loved storylines but also learning how each class handled situations differently. What I missed was the fear of deaths and delays etc.

Where if I didn't do a good job, carefully plan or know my class all I would have is a repair bill and reappear in a cleared instance and could run back and start again real fast.

Since I came here two weeks ago I have been slowly leveling different toons and am hitting dungeons and other areas I don't remember or harder to level in, but the reward is the thrill of overcoming the risks , and beating mobs that are really hard and challenging. I forsee a very slow leveling progression but a fun time playing all the classes and experiencing all the dungeons as I go up.

This game is awesome because when you make a mistake it hurts, and you never make it again.
