tbh doesn't matter why he left, he did what he wanted. I hopped from azrael to nihilum after roughly ~1year in azrael starting off on the server into my late 60s on 2 chars and various others. I was immediately called a guild hopper/lootwhore, all my former guildmates talked shit about me despite all the good I did on top of the fact I could have stolen a couple white dragon scales, 2 tstaffs, a dozen fungis, few cof's and all that but I didn't but shit was still talked about me.
Same thing happens when people left nihilum, or now when people leave azrael or empire. people automatically shit talk, especially the forumquesters they get it going. Usually the ones who talk shit the most are people who were/are jealous and or think themselves superior to said person for some unknown reason that only the elf gods know.
fact: you leave a guild, expect people from former guild including your 'friends' to fling shit your way for no reason other then you switched sides even if you left on respectful terms.
In all the time playing on red I have only had a few very close personal friendships in who I trusted with everything and anything whether I left their guild or not. friends 4ever.
tl;dr = its red server, if you leave a guild expect the forumquesting to begin. first person to fling the dirt usually is either big troll or someone who as i mentioned was jealous of other person, or think they are superior in some way.

P sure that you didn't join a guild once every few weeks with your first order of business being to immediately talk shit about your old guild each time. Then looping back to the guilds that you were talking shit about.
