Let's talk about your mother. Was she a strong woman? Maybe too strong sometimes? Maybe sometimes stern when you really needed comfort? Mothers are the first women in our lives and how we interact with them shapes how we deal with women from then on out. I am sure you are conflicted about your feelings of love and resentment, that;s natural enough. But you can't let that resentment shape your interactions with the rest of the world.
