I do not believe that. There is a reason a mob opens to FFA loot after a period of time. The Devs did that. If you don't want your stuff looted, simply tell the person once. If they don't listen, screen cap, petition and get the person in trouble.
If they listen, then all good.
The other day a bard was kiting in FV with a druid. Level 40, 41 and 42. All within a VERY short period of time. The mass amounts of Drovargs...it was crazy. All druid did was loot everything. It was a good way to avoid that situation. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You are mistaken. P99 rules on loot are not identical to EQ back in the day. Here, if you kill the mob the loot belongs to you, regardless whether it's Trakanon or an orc pawn. If you bother to take the time and search the forums you will find multiple posts by the GMs confirming that policy, IIRC the most recent was by Eunomia to a thread here in RnF. Unless the soloer/group/raidleader who killed it allows you, looting any mob's corpse is petitionable. #saveourclothcapsfromninjalooters
