When I was young and saw that, I can't remember what I thought. AS I grew older, I related it to the new age movement. Probably somebody who thought they had an alien experience tried to translate the experience to this. Or maybe they were on drugs at one time, trying to tune in, and they tried to convey it. Or maybe a do-gooder turned new ager.
In the movie Communion, the aliens wear "masks", or are not as they appear. I think this was tied to Whitley Streiber writing that they might be demons and being unsure what they really were. Of course, today I don't believe a single word which comes out of his mouth. Why should I? He writes fiction and Communion is fiction. Fiction is his game. Ditto.
So to recap I watched it again and this is my thought...
1) Satan says it's an angel
2) Satan can give life to things and create virtually anything
3) Satan doesn't like humans because they're greedy and irritating
4) Satan can do no wrong because it doesn't know what it's
5) Satan thinks people have no value, but it might create humans if it needs them
6) Satan says there's just empty space and you and you're but a thought
Conclusion: That's me on a bad day.
