I started a druid, having never played one in old EQ. I love the utility of the class, but there's Druids everywhere, so just know that you'll be in a big school of fish. That said, there's a spell for everything and I never get bored playing around with my utility belt of spells.
Since you're not a fan of pulling, an Enchanter seems like it could indirectly suffer from that. Enchanter's need to be aware of what's going on for every pull pretty much since they need to mez adds.
Shaman's are fun as hell and people will love you for buffing and sowing them. They also get some NASTY dots and slows, making mobs seemingly Charmin-soft. This seems like it could be a good class for you.
