Druids do get a hard time, I've had some great druid healers in CoM... but I've also had druids that whine/complain/drop group if they have to keep a healing spell loaded.
Don't play a druid/shaman if you're not prepared to at least keep a bit of mana spare for patch healing.

I can sympathize. There are virtually no druid twinks as everyone takes them as their first char for easy income, which means the druid in CoM is spending his plat on his twink alt that will be his main someday and not his druid. Small mana pool plus chain pulling mobs, plus everyone asking for sow and str and ds and regen and patch healing gets hard, especially when a greater heal takes a 20-25% of your mana pool and it takes two and a half minutes to med that back.
