Feminism was tangentially related at the start and certainly not a focus, not until certain slacktivists decided they could make a profit off of the situation so they came up with the "gaming is a boys only club" narrative and started demanding the entire industry change to accommodate a small percentage of it. Groups in support of the gamers under attack called the slacktivists out on their shit,
