If it helps, as a cleric I used to root (L5) if the warrior was struggling...and yes I'd send him a tell first.
I'd rather burn small mana on a root than large mana healing everyone else who cba to FD, evade or nuke at a sensible percentage [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
edit: the best warriors knew when something got rooted by spell effects or paying attention to the combat log and would instantly hug the mob. |
At least you GET IT. I've literally had to halt pulls/tanking before and break it down Barney style trying to get people to understand. Even then I'd say it was 50/50 at best as to whether or not they'd listen.
