If the alliance continues contesting with large numbers regularly empire will eventually fall to its knees.
The blues will get sick of the long prep hours, pvp, the CR's etc.. a lot of empire is here for the easy pixel ride, logging in for a short amount of time to drop some dragons and log back out.
