I understood that and unfortunately it did nothing to address the OP's concerns. At he risk of encouraging you, I translated and addressed your "whispers on the wind" warning to the OP (since it was indeed a fair point) by explaining the reason behind it and other factors at play. And yes, I am very sorry to say, but levels are vastly more important than CHA for lulling. Allow me to put it to you another way, would you rather pull anywhere with 5 fewer levels or 20 less CHA? That's what I thought. I agree with you though that CHA is undervalued by many and am refreshed to see someone else who gets it, but no need to turn zealot with it.

I don't see many people rolling wood elf warriors with points dumped into CHA for potential DI saves anytime soon, but I could be wrong. I've never played much with the spell personally, but if you've had good experiences with it, kudos, I'd be interested in hearing about them ^^
