22 pages? I am honored!
Yes, it was stupid that I died right after getting my epic. I was just running around unbuffed chatting with people, not paying attention.
A giant LOL at this. If we are talking about "not too bright" here, that you be your awful guild tactics and your asinine assumptions.
I didn't really care about getting YT'd before because it was simply a waste to do so. When I started playing again recently and was doing nothing but farming seafuries outside of raids, the only thing that mattered to me holding the zone down for my guild so that profit could be made. And that's exactly what happened. I quickly built up the money I needed to get a Manastone and increased my bank savings, which can be used or whatever my guild might need. By continually NOT giving up my ground in OOT, other people wasted their time and often would eventually log out, realizing they wouldn't be killing many seafuries while I was there constantly attacking.
Following that came my VP key journey. Pained Soul is the worst "requirement" in this game, by far. It literally feels like cancer. I am not going to sit there staring at the screen 24/7 for a solo camp that takes an INSANE amount of time to complete (unless you get lucky). That is a waste of what I can be doing with my life. I am going to kill the placeholder in 10 seconds and then set a timer and minimize the game. If I get killed from PvP while AFK, so what. All that means is I have to run back. If better-geared PvP is coming after me then I wouldn't be able to continue with my camp in the first place, so I gain literally nothing by not AFK-ing here.
Mathematically, my play was the most efficient and effective usage of my time with this character. Not just for myself but for what I can provide to my guild. Now I have a VP key, an Epic, a Manastone, enough money to buy the next Manarobe I see, and my resist gear constantly continues to get better. I strongly dislike how imbalanced PvP is in this game and how gear-dependent it is, but that's simply how it is. The game has other draws, so for now I'll live with the flaws and work on giving my character the necessities it needs to be most functional.
If that doesn't make sense to you then maybe you should learn more about game theory. Or just basic math. I even agree with you that zerg is rather boring and I
specifically proposed something that would help to increase the competition amongst guilds in the game and provide a more level, more skill-based PvP playing field. Apparently you just want to go out of your way to antagonize anyone and everyone. Well, we've seen how that's worked out for you. In reality you're not doing much to help the game itself. It's more about your ego.
FYI, I've gotten plenty of kills on AZ people last year and this year,
on my own, while being undergeared. Please though, do let me know if there are any other adjectives on your list that you forgot to add. I'll address them sometime inbetween not asking any questions and having no self-respect. Since your playtime here is actually more ridiculous than mine, I do expect a prompt response.
