I'm excited to get it on my new troll shm on red. When it stacks with root in velious it'd be great for low to mid lvl leveling, and also good for high lvl soloing stuff that flees at low hp in crowded dungeons when you really can't risk them moving toward help. Never know when root will break!
Edit: Also, wiki page says both 6 and 8 ticks at max. Anybody wanna test?
