Camped him 14 hours on a Saturday. Spawn was EXACTLY 55 minutes every time. He never spawned. Resumed camp on Sunday and got him first pop. I was very happy.

Were you the mage who got him at like 7:50 AM on Sunday Morning? (Sakra?)
I arrived on Sunday morning, finally found the tower and started to hear him casting... only to hear the Mage kill him shortly after

I can confirm he is NOT a 1/day spawn.
The spawn cycle is 55 minutes
He respawned for me at 5:15PM
When he finally popped, it seems to me that it was a minute or two late?
Sounds like you can count on about a 10 hour camp here, depending on your luck.
