I made a lvl 1 human, 27 hp
difference at this lvl +20/-20 stam
How important is capping 20 str on damage?
I have noticed so far +10 str sub lvl 10 is +10 attack
Already noticing the non barb difference -28 str would be about 30 attack at this lvl and put me at over 200 str with gear im at 175 (non epic)
I don't know how far I plan to go with this rogue, if velious? Str is way easy to cap, boulders are nice, but that's another thing you have to farm and they don't guarantee kills but can secure them.
Custom Helms are kinda of a big deal maybe. I don't like any of the models minus human/wood elf, both look amazing in velious vs dwarf/barb/gnome/half geared.
Both are also the only race you can't get a mask for on this server at point in the time line.
I tried the smaller races, dwarf, gnome and they just feel the opposite of a fat race. Weird positioning, under mobs, have to jump on some stairs. I always feel like im looking up or having too, and the same with a large race looking down.
Are barbs easier to hit in pvp? Hit box is wider? I know in mass pvp ogres trolls and barbs tend to stand out in the crowd. Smaller or mid size races not so much so.
min max or fashion quest?
what matters? how much is 30 attack or 30 str in race? I doubt I ll ever need slam sounds nice but another backstab would prob seal the deal.
I really dislike models on barbs but from a min max point, they are prob the best rogue but how so in pvp? can you wiggle around for backstabs they feel clunky and I cant think of one outstanding barb player other than tune on his rogue
the top 3-5 best rogues on this server are
dwarf
gnome
woodelf
woodelf
dwarf
just saying most of the barbies ive seen here are meh mediocre below average players and ive seen some outstanding players get past the racial or stat differences but how would those same players fair with another race, it does have a difference feel.
The seeing through walls things is a bonus but not game breaking

For stats it will make less of a difference in Velious compared to Kunark where items specialize in certain types of stats. If you max out your str you can focus on hps or resists for instance. Velious pretty much destroys specialization and just makes you more powerful across the board, like gear tiers on WoW.
If you are worried about Velious era don't worry about stats. Just compare throwing boulders to race size/looks. Illusion masks are easy so to get so it isn't a huge deal.... minor inconvenience. You mentioned you are wanting to min/max and AoNs will be easier to get in Velious era so with an instant click illusion you won't have to worry about ever being in barbarian form. If you are really going for the long run you would pick barbarian for the throwing boulders and not care about the race looks. The only thing you really give up is being able to see through walls with a gnome.
