BDA ran up on ogre island to see a rezzing Taken raid after an obvious Fay wipe. We sent out our rangers/bard and Lecompte plinks him with an arrow and Fay comes running. This was back before the FTE ranges were extended so Lecompte just assumed max arrow range was too far to see an FTE message especially since Fay came running after that single arrow (an arrow that missed mind you)
So we finally down Fay when it arrives and Zade swoops in hands the loot to Taken. Eratani had been kiting the entire time and we had no idea, zero Taken participated in the kill.

This is very false on so many accounts as I know bc twas me.
Fay was pulled in super fast after the Sim-Repop by Greame. So fast that we literally had maybe 10 people on ogre isle most of which barely even had any buffs.
No BDA in zone during the first 'engage' ( if you even call a slaughter that lol ). As my guild was wiping I knew I only had one chance to make a difference: egress/clear aggro/ med up and wait.
So I did. I sat on the Chessboard isle in Spirit of Oak form as my guild began to res. More reinforcements arrived on the Oasis dock however they informed guildchat of the upcoming storm: BDA is also waiting on the boat. I knew I would be our only hope to tag Fay as all the Taken in TD were currently dead or being res'd. The rest were on the docks in Oasis with BDA. So I waited.
As soon as BDA began to enter the zone I went out to hunt. Having JUST nerfed my druid track skill from 120 to 50, I couldnt find Fayedar worth shit. I was looking everywhere and beginning to panic. I knew BDA was racing to be in the area where he roams so I had only one chance to find him and that window was closing fast.
Then, out of the corner of my eye I see this peculiarly large fish swimming below me: Faydedar. Now at this point I had never tagged a dragon before nor experienced the brand new FTE message.....I dipped my head underwater and instantly I see the yellow text "Faydedar engages Eratani", my other member moves slightly and I GTFU out of the water to begin my run back to the ogre isle.
I stopped at the Chessboard upon gaining some ground to re-levitate myself and then I notice: Faydedar is no longer chasing me at all. Thats odd.
Then I see: BDA's puller shout in the zone "FAYDEDAR INC"
I thought to myself......did they? But I got the yellow.... Hmmmm
I informed my guild in TS that everything is good we got the yellow text let them kill it, and slaughter it they did. My guild was just getting their res effects worn off by the time BDA pwned Fay so it prob was for the best. Within seconds, Sirken showed up and announced my name as having the FTE and rights to the dragon which was now dead.
That Faydedar also provided me with my Pod for my epic. Thanks BDA!
This is hopefully the last time this has to be explained ! You guys thought it was kited only bc you were not in the zone when we initially wiped and he swam all the way back home.
