your friend has horrible taste in vodka and was probably trying to get some hoe from the block drunk. flavored vodka is worse then horse piss and should be avoided at all costs, but if you realy want to find a awy to make it tolerable im sure theres a recipe on this website.

All depends on whether you get the good ones sir. If you make it out to CO, there's a little hole in the wall called the Russian tea room, They have some damn fine vodkas there. (not sure about tea though)
