I think you should look up the definition of monopoly friend =)
You have every right to sit in EC for weeks at a time trying to sell your loot!
Or if you would rather go out and kill shit to get even more loot, you give the item to me and I sell it. Not rocket science and not a monopoly by any stretch of the imagination.
