Quick question:
I am definitely a newbie on this server. I try to be friendly and helpful to everyone I meet. 98% of the population has been super cool and the other 2% can be ignored.
But I got hit with the ban hammer because I helped a guy transfer some items and he paid my EC toon a bunch of platinum after I helped him out. Did I screw up because I helped a guy who had paid some guy for his plat?
But that is nor the worst part a buddy of mine got banned because I gave him some of the money I had gotten. As he is also a brand new player and he got hit with the ban hammer as well.
Did I break some rule I cant find?
Is there anything you can do to get a ban removed other than the petition part of the forums?

There is probably pages of petitions today from the ban wave.
Not counting the 2 months of work Derubael left behind.
Some are innocent (like your story sounds) some are not.
If you bought plat, you will stay banned.
If you are innocent. Petition it and wait. Don't over bump it, be polite, an bump it once a day or two days until you get resolved.
Same with your friend.
