If you're tradeskilling, use Control + Leftclick. Since you're a cleric, always cast your heals and spells after you get hit by the 'meditate tick.' Use Stun / Force / Holy Might spells -- especially to save friendly Casters and Weak Melee. Most of the time it can be much more effective than a reactive heal.

Clerics are actually a dime a dozen, so if you plan to play the 'snob cleric' people will be more than happy to kick you out of the group and get someone more down to earth. And yes, this actually needs to be said, specifically for the 'typical cleric player.'
