Unlikely. Wasn't there a story about a guy walking into SOE wanting to spend 6 figures to get something from EQ (I forget what it was for, might have been for a private server) and they laughed him out of the building? A dude had 6 figures to spend and he got laughed out of the building.

You realize even if that was true what a drop in the bucket 6 figures is to sony? The CEO probably makes 6 figures a hour. 6 figures isnt going to get you any companies intellectual properties for something thats made them money for 15 years.
