Those people I don't really care about, it's the players that are going to stick around regardless of the fact they died a few times on a PVP server. And the main reason those players stick around is that they aren't bluebies at heart, and actually believe in PVP.

So you're hoping they grow up into easy/compliant kills? I hate to burst your bubble but Stockholm syndrome is pretty rare. The people who stick around will tend to avoid PVP as well as player cooperation, which isn't particularly healthy for the server.
Things might be different without global shaming; shit ain't even classic.
