Join <Fresh> for a <Fresh> start in my opinion. Miria has been going out and buffing new players and offering guild tags to give new players a home.
I would be innovative and avoid the traditional starting locations as they are strewn with griefers. Make friends through your new guild and try to get to levelling zones that are NOT Crushbone, Unrest or Mistmoore. Make your way to Kunark if you have to
