Long John Silver's: Probably the best of anywhere I've ever been that's on the list. The only nearby locations are tough to get to though. The spiciness is a major plus for this New Orleans guy; others are just too bland. If there's no heat in your seafood, then you're just phoning it in, imo.

Wendy's: Their "Alaskan" fish sandwich was pretty good. The normal one? Still better than BK or McD, but not a good catch.

Burger King vs McDonald's: Of the "big two," BK is superior. Still, they're fairly average.

Sonic: No different than BK or McD, really, and I never liked the style of Sonic. And for some reason, most times I go to Sonic, they're out of whatever it was I went there for.

Arby's: Extremely disappointing, as most Arby's food is. I only go to Arby's for mocha shakes. I get the feeling that fish isn't foremost in their minds. For food, they should stick to what they're good at: beef, and that's it. They're only even passable at that.

Dairy Queen: A lot like Arby's. I really don't think DQ cares much about their food, other than the ice cream.

Jack-in-the-Box and White Castle: I've heard legends of these places, but we don't allow them down here, and I've never been to them when traveling.

Not on the list (that I know about):

If what I really want is fast food seafood, then I almost always opt for Popeye's. There is no beating this.

Rally's/Checker's: Just as good as BK/McD, but better priced.

Carl's Jr: We don't have them here, but I sampled some when in Cali. Almost as good as Popeye's.
