You cannot completely block a DDoS attack. Most methods of "stopping" it involve taking your own shit down anyway. It isn't a hack, it is just a flood of legitimate traffic that overloads the system and/or circuit. The huge sites like Google mitigate attacks by overpowering them with retarded amounts of geographically dispersed bandwidth and even they have been taken down with exceptionally organized efforts.

With P99 you could have some success if you involve upstream providers to essentially cut off the traffic flow when you identify the source of an attack but any sort of reactive approach like this is just gonna make the server laggy as fuck and barely playable instead of hard down anyway.
