One .. you can do Staff of the wheel Quest. then after you are through with the staff can use it to get the two runes you need to Research the Ice Comet spell(Frost and Astral) .. It is still a level 49 spell and with 159 in research not yet trival to me .. although failure rate is low. Jan 2000 would be pre-kunark and corroborates the graffe June 2000 information that the runes dropped off high level mobs (Vox adds and planar). The 2002 change had the actual spell scroll drop while it was previously available only through the staff quest or creature drops at the 182 trivial.
