How I was raised, plus I live alone in downtown Atlanta (granted I live in a really nice, secure apartment).. no kids. If I had children or even a wife with me, it would probably be locked away.

I mean if it makes sense to you. I was just curious. I honestly can't picture a situation I could get myself into where I'd need a gun for self defense. My thing is meeting a few people and shooting a few guns at targets just to see who gets that lucky kickass shot off.
