There is so little diversity in eq/p99, or even the opportunity for diversity, this is the one non-classic change I'd welcome. The fact that min/maxers wouldn't ever make these race/classes makes it that much better. Who knows, maybe after 10 years of Velious...

Agreed but let's save that until Velious gets a little stale. There's a lot of ideas that could be implemented in the future once people have their fill of classic content.
