same shit unfortunately - even using a completely different source for my EQ installation and a separate wineskin wrapper. I get an error "Error in your GUI files. check UIerrors.txt"
so UIerrors.txt says

the error message looks like it's missing an EQLSUI.xml file from the UIfiles/default folder. any ideas?
EDIT - Hooray! found my fix if you have this same issue. its just an issue with the actual UIfiles/default folder itself. you can download a new one by going to this link
http://www.project1999.com/forums/member.php?u=4346, the user Savok has a link in his sig for "Default UI Changes" for the proper UIfiles/default folder. from there it's just a drag and drop to replace! works like a charm now
