I do feel kind of bad for him. Kids lash out all the time at things to try and make themselves feel better about their own lives. I know his entire life is in project 1999 and this is his only outlet to make himself feel like he is somebody in the world.
I have faith in people though. That he will one day move out of his moms house and move on to be a productive member of society.
