Who cares what the reasons are? It's against the rules, shouldn't be a fucking debate about why. Respect the wishes of the owner of the server and don't do it, bout all that needs to be said.

Until ebay started removing those auctions and banned them due to sony contacting them and forcing them to. That is when playersauction.com was born.
Sony did not care about the rmt as much as the problems it caused them from the CS department and people getting ripped off. That is where their main problem with it came.
