There was a fantastic thread (
http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=132972) a while back about gearing a non-raiding shaman in Velious. I was very impressed by the number of high-quality upgrades that were available simply through groupable content on dwarf (thurgadin armor set) or dragon faction (bracer of hammerfal, circlet of falinkan, strength of elements, talisman of benevolence, etc.). And canni IV, ermahgerd!
Looking at the thurgadin sets and new spells for other classes impressed me a lot less, frankly. I've read people's description of INSANE upgrades, but outside of raid content, I'm not really seeing much that's particularly impressive.
Please post anything you're excited about your class getting from small group content in Velious, or any spells/disciplines/etc that you think will enhance your class!
