a women out our office recently quit because it was costing her more to work and put her kids in daycare than it was worth working. Since she and her husband were employed, their income put them just over the limit where they couldnt get any discounts or w/e for daycare, so basically they had to pay full price aka out the ass for shitty service.
It sucked to lose her as she was a great worker and a great member of our small team in our small office but she and her family are doing much better. She gets to be with her kids which makes her happy and her kids happy. She gets to oversee their rearing (education/discipline/etc) instead of some random person who doesnt give a fuck about your kid and just wants them to shut up and watch TV or play with X toy or w.e.
Look at kids now days...they are fucking shit heads...and i think that is due to not being raised by their parents. They are raised by random fuckheads who dont give a fuck and the kids turn out to be fuckheads who dont give a fuck.
tl;dr -stay at home mom is fine. raise your own kids. they will love you and thank you for it later down the road.
