and that's yet another thing I've heard conflicting reports on. I've heard that they teach it in the academy as the way to take people down and hold them and so what the cop did was exactly what he was trained to do.
I'm still not really happy about this though. He said he couldn't breathe and the cop never eased up. It may not be illegal but it's hard for a lot of people to come to terms with, certainly much harder than Wilson shooting Brown.
This case has a much greater chance of fed intervention than the Wilson-Brown case. I actually see the fed investigation resulting in charges whereas I don't see them charging Wilson with anything.
