Never saw anyone in nihilum purposely destroy an item someone couldn't loot, I know at one point there were rumors about who was it ezpk having VP trash weapons deleted because he was still an app? Thats the only thing I know about, and since that post everyone has changed the story countless times til it turned into "nizzar and nihilum officers destroyed loot infront of new recruits rather then gear them up unless they past the process".
VP weapons are a dime a dozen, pretty sure ezpk picked up ALL of them while the propaganda was being spread.
And yes you can easily compare Nihilum to Holocaust, Considering Holo has most of its nihi members with the smaller portion being in god's work. Along with Holo being the biggest guild on the server, currently controlling almost every world boss + VP recruiting anything that moves(same thing nihilum did, coincidence? need new bodies for each one that quits or gears up and goes casual/mia)
Holocaust bank isn't overflowing with loot selling it at 3x the cost because they are still working on gearing up a revolving door of players, Who is to say it would not take another YEAR of kunark to gear up all of their core members + raid day login people while passing out pieces of gear here and there to new recruits. But say they did have the loot banked up like nihilum did, Nihilum had kept trak bp, vs legs and other items on lock from farming so long there was NO PLACE ELSE you could acquire them, so they determined the prices and yes people bought them dont act like no one did. You either went to nihilum and got your gear eventually or you bought the items on guild auctions.
The day holo has a couple RBB/CoF/DHB banked, with 1-2 of each BP/legs they will have succeeded in becoming nihilum. How long until they can be so careful with who/what new app they award loot to, including epic MQs? Charlatan comes to mind, I bet he still has his soul leech sitting on his char untouched because he couldn't sell it quick enough to get back to blue and might come back at a later time. Had a SK officer/leader looted that instead to MQ like was done in nihilum it wouldn't have happened. You can say oh well we have CT on lock so well get more, Yes you probably will but you got crazy good luck with the multiple SL right off the start. Any of the members from nihilum knows how loot can go, months without seeing an AoN or soul leech, sow sword, crown etc.
