My favorite was always the Tremere. At least, for the first playthrough. Once you know the story, and what happens, playing a Malkavian is great because you can better appreciate how much work they put into the Malkavians. Since Malkavians have the ability to, at times, see in the future, your Malkavian character will say stuff that relates to the end of the game, really early on. It wont make sense to you when you hear it, because you don't have the context, but your character knows it.
Truly a brilliant game.
