The chances of meeting someone at the same place in life as you, and similar enough to you to make a go of it are slim. The odds you will grow and change at the same rate are 0.
There is no such thing is love, there is a chemical biological imperative to reproduce and mate. There is also a human dislike of change. When a relationship ends move on to a new one. Change is the only constant in life.
