Grab a pair of mesh gloves. They drop in Upper Guk and are usually sold to vendors nearby (check South Ro and Grobb). They are 4AC which is the same as Wu and the same weight. You do lose the light source but just hold a GLS in your inventory and you've saved yourself about 75pp.
