Teams good if they do it classic.
Short races - Halfling, Dwarf, Gnome
Elves - Wood Elf, High Elf, Half Elf
Evils - Iksar, Dark Elf, Troll, Ogre
Humans - Human, Barbarian, Erudite
Anything other than this is lame. Don't try to CustomTeams99 it.
Item loot should be in on this server for ATLEAST a year, cause classic. Item recharging also needs to be fixed. Classic EXP. No global OOC and no PVP text.
If they do that stuff it would be fine.

teams: very likely 3 teams. possibly sullon-style deity teams. possibly each team will be missing a class or two
item loot: yes. there will be some form of item loot (hopefully it is nerfed so as not to be rage-inducing grief fest levels - many of the red crowd have seen classic item loot kill server pop REPEATEDLY, on various iterations of pvp servers)
item recharging: currently on red item recharging is disabled (thank god). probably the same for teams.
xp: probably classic, maybe get a small bump.
global ooc: there may be a team-wide chat channel for each team. but no global ooc.
pvp text: unknown. personally i hope there is at least zone-wide pvp text. or if there are something like 10 deaths within 5 minutes somewhere then there is a global message about a battle taking place or whatnot. could be interesting
There is also talk of implementing some sort of anti-zerg mechanic. perhaps making the evil team FFA (evil is usually the team with the highest population/best territories), or maybe if you're on the team with the highest population then your stats will be lowered in proportion to how much higher your numbers are, or the other teams get a stat boost, etc.
