That is pretty much what we do minus the trolling. I guess its not crazy money pullyn but on a average day I make 100g killing fishermen and stealing their boats. Not to mention you can use those stolen gilda to buy a design and sell for a bunch of gold.
We setup a line of trees in hasla, name our mounts stayout, and flag purple our entire time there...just kill anyone who crosses the line...its hilarious how many people stand right on the other side and wont actually cross. Has worked very well in keeping people off our camp.
1.7 has big changes for pirate so i wouldnt give up quite yet. From what i heard 2nd hand the pirate faction hates somali due to you guys doing some sort of power play to absorb all the smaller guilds. Dunno/care if thats true, all i know is there is 70-80 people waiting for undead legion to cross over and that should be a pretty solid raid force.

I've got a fishing boat, I can make money as long as I can turn them in. Thst being said, anymore there seems to be a surplus of guilds that sit on the traders with 20-30+ people that requires somewhat of a raid force to turn in. Also we weren't trying to do anything. We simply wanted everybody to get along, hell our TS had channels for each pirate guild at one time and everybody hung out there. A few people kept going purple and ganking our members and running their mouths so they got camped at the nui for a few days. Then they drug a few of the smaller guilds into the fight with the same result. You will see, the 4 or 5 people that have been in every guild on the island are the problem. Not us.
