DoTs are also more efficient than nukes so it's generally a better idea to finish mobs with a cheap DoT than a cheap nuke.

Absolutely agree here, only drawback is if the mobs are coming at you it can be a pain in the dick to DoT them both and kite while the DoT only ticks for 2/3 plus you're running around waiting for the DoT to run it's course instead of medding.
