Rangers who gear towards tanking, as opposed to full STR for DPS, can be decent tanks.
Hell of a lot better than warriors since their aggro is superb. Especially pre-60.
Ranger is one of the best group tank classes since they can harmony outdoors like Unrest, Mistmoore, CoM, and KC (very typical level up path). Making them great pullers as well.
