OK a buddy brought up that maybe zombies are just so damn "dirty" from the rot / decay / parasites, that getting bitten isnt really a zombie "infection" per say, but your body cant cope with all the parasites and shuts down. Which would explain why the blood spray doesnt matter (Since everyone is "infected" already)........
