My "main" toons are a 35 Druid, 38 Enchanter, 40 Necro.. I've been here maybe 3? years and am a super casual, so I can see where you're coming from.
Short answer: They're all great solo'ers. Roll all of 'em and give them a test drive and stick with what you enjoy the most.
Long answer: They're all great solo'ers, but some are easier and quicker than others.
Druid and Enchanter can both charm kite effectively starting at 20, and honestly anything else is a waste of time. The trick is knowing/finding spots where you have constant pulls. The downside to this is you'll need to be very attentive or you'll die a lot. Both have the tools to charm kite very easily. Druids have to be on the hunt for animal-heavy zones, whereas Enchanters just need two or more mobs around the same level.
Necros can charm kite, but I haven't found a good spot yet at 40, mostly because fear kiting/root rotting is so mind bogglingly easy. Druids can root rot/fear kite (animals) too, but not nearly as well. At 34, my Druid can DoT for 58dmg/tick, whereas my Necro could DoT for 124dmg/tick..and it only gets worse the higher you level. I should add though that Druids get several Free DoT items, so eventually you can kill mobs by only casting root.
Either way, I really do suggest at least rolling all of these classes and getting them to ~24 before you pick one. I started off Druid and loved charm kiting, so I rolled an Enchanter. Eventually I wanted to be able to AFK more reliably, so I rolled a Necro. It's all about personal taste.
Races that everyone always picks:
Druid-> Halfling
Necro-> Iksar (stay on Kunark)
Enchanter-> High Elf
