That's exactly what I'm talking about. I'm talking about people duoing an xp camp in Mistmoore, like Pond or Graveyard, or an xp camp in CoM like Stables or Temple and refusing to let other people into the group because they are duoing their twinks.

I think graveyard is ok, its pretty condensed in its own little area, so that one u gotta chalk up to there are lots of people here reliving eq on thier own terms

but yea once u get to com you start, well.. to just want to get that exp and doing a duo is fun for them. It can be frustrating when you have to wait for a group opening when someone is soloing an area often taken by a full 6 man group I know.
Ive duoed at the temple, soloed it even but I let people join me, even though I hope they will turn me down.. and after about 20 mins Id 50% of the time, log off and come back later.. because.. well if you saw the difference in xp gain when you are solo duo vs in a 4+ group.. and
could solo duo? you would start to just realise 6 man grouping is kind of just not really worth it, if you don't have to.
I mean, yea the grind and playing EQ as a group is what its all about right? well kind of.. most of these people that you are talking about have ground 2 3 or maybe 4 toons on p99 and well, after you've done it once or twice, it looses its luster and you just want to get to that same level as all your friends who are lvl 60 so you can group with them again...
I mean, you're just gona have to expect that the server is a mixed bag of nuts, and sometimes the bowl you seek is in drooga, even though that's a long run from Mistmoore.

Rest assured those people duoing right now? will roll a rogue at some point and be stuck waiting on a spot in a group, while someone else (maybe even you!) is taking the temple to solo for an hour before dinner with their family.
bluetopia. it is real.
