Could not have said it better myself. Back when all the "troops" were leaving Iraq, with all the pictures, and videos of Strykers/HMMMVs rolling out into Kuwait, there was almost little to no mention of all at the remaining 50k+ troops here. We were watching the news over here just laughing, because that's all we can do.
When I went home on R&R people who asked me where I was, I told them Iraq, and they were like "But I thought that war was over", I just kinda laughed...If you guys pray and/or what not, just keep the troops in your thoughts. Especially w/ the holidays coming up, heck, I'm more pissed about missing Halloween than I am Tgiving or Xmas lol

Log in or Register.] There are plenty of young soldiers over here who don't have ANYONE back home to send them carepackages, by my wife and several others take good care of them by sending them their own, but these kids over here don't bitch, they don't whine, they just do their job and take care of business. Anyway, it's not all easy over here, but it isn't like we are having to go weeks without food.
