The archery damage calc was changed back in 2011 because rangers were doing trueshot-level damage.

I missed a divide by two when calculating the weapon damage for archery attacks. Guess Rogean ninja-patched some code and that went in. Expecting archery DPS to be anywhere close to melee damage pre-AA/Trueshot is mass madness, you maniacs.

And it gets better. Throw damage has a x2 bonus on displayed damage.

Yeah, there's no way that was correct. Barb rogues have gotten 500+ dmg deadly strikes using throwing boulders.
