I think in time people will realize he wasn't as bad as some people made it seem. In the end, he cared about killing raid targets and that's it. A lot of stuff went on behind the scenes to build and sustain Nihilum. Sure some RMT was happening, but you don't build a guild almost entirely around people getting loot and then deny it to them to make a few bucks and keep the shit alive for 2 years.
And this is coming from someone who was kind of a black sheep in the guild, and who was on the verge of getting the boot because of my big mouth.

I've had a chance to be in a guild now with a lot of people I "in-game hated", and what has really stood out to me is how we're all kinda the same and I don't really dislike anyone aside from a small group. Shit, Nirgon can go back in his PMs and find one of me asking what the fuck is up with this Colgate guy? Fast forward to now and I've been in TS with the guy and PVP'd with him and you see what he is all about.
I think the problem we have now is you have this beaten dog in Lite who has spent more time than anyone logged into this server, 99% of it with Niz's foot on his throat. He is always going to be fighting this enemy that doesn't exist anymore, and he is using Holo to personify it for him.
Nothing will really change though, people have been set in their ways for years now. GMs blame the players and wont step in and clean up the mess, because everyone treats them like shit. But to use an analogy I saw on the blue forums a while back, you don't create a dogfighting ring (r99) then blame the dogs for fighting.
