heh yea, back in live this era, most enchanters were like, "charming pets is crazy and not worth it and nobody should ever do it cus its insane and I'm too much of a coward to try it ever"
I mean we were all pretty bad at eq in that era heh.
It does seem suspicious but most of the exploits that make us super 7337 at eq now are also suspicious.
Lets just put it this way, if they knew about it back then they would have stopped it, but since nobody was really doing this type of enchanting for the most part I'd wager if it worked like this in classic, the devs didnt know about it either.
On a side note speaking of classic not classic, you know what classic thing I wish we added to p99 - when that jerk camps out without leaving group and then you have to reform group to remove the permanently bugged always out of zone group member that's no longer online
